Arizona's Children Assoc Professional Foster Care

Arizona's Children Association (AzCA) is the state's largest child welfare and behavioral health organization, committed to serving roughly 20,000 children and their families each year.

The Professional Foster Family Care program is set up to provide 24 hour care, supervision, and services to children who are "dependants of the State" who are just stepping down from institutional care before being placed in a "standard" community foster family. This fulltime paid position is a step up from the "standard" community foster family. A higher level of training is provided. The children are between the ages of 8 & 18, with behavioral, social, emotional, or mental health concerns, which cannot be addressed in a "regular or standard" foster care setting. The Professional Foster Parent works weekly as a part of a Team to deliver individualized services to these children.

Please call Erin Casey at (480) 814-7789 ext: 128 to learn more about the program criteria, training, child placement, support, and pay.

Professional Foster Families are a valuable and necessary resource in the effort to help these children become healthy, productive members of our society!
