Talents & Goals:
I have been a vocalist/lyricist for nearly all of my life. Since a very young age I have had the desire to work in the entertainment industry. I have recently relocated to California from Michigan with the intent of taking the next step towards fulfilling my career goals. Although performing is my major focus, I am also interested in other aspects of entertainment such as “behind the scenes” music related jobs (record labels, production, etc.), modeling/fashion, and writing. I would like to find a work environment in which I can feel creative and utilize my talents, but also enhance these talents by meeting other creative individuals and possibly learning new skills that would further advance my career.

History & Accomplishments:

Throughout my school years I used every opportunity I could to display my talents. I have participated in choir, numerous talent shows, and have had lead roles in school musicals. Once in high school I began to take my career into my own hands, writing for and singing in my own (rock) band. After graduation, I relocated to a bigger city to meet others with common goals/interests. It was then that I formed a band called “sylvex”. Sylvex has written, recorded and produced two full-length discs (“Good Mourning” & “PowerAnxietyIllusion”) and before moving to California, sylvex had gained interest both through our live shows and website. Currently working under the name “heroine.”, we look forward to our continuing success. We currently have a third disc in production and a new website is being designed.

Strengths & Qualifications:

My “job” history includes work that I have done for dental offices, both as a dental assistant and most recently as a front desk/business assistant. (More detailed references available.) I am multi-tasked and a quick learner who can excel with very little supervision. I feel that I would be an asset to any company because I am very personable, reliable, hard-working, and am able to remain calm in potentially stressful situations.
