HISTORY OF THE CHURCH:

The PENTECOSTAL MIRACLE WORSHIP CENTRE (P.M.W.C.) was founded by the late Rev C.A.Ihim after his retirement from Assemblies of God mission where he served as pastor for about 40 years in different parts of Nigeria. Before he went to be with the Lord, the Lord told him to prepare his son Abraham for the task and today we are still on in The Gambia as an arm of a missionary organization – Kingdom Vision Association.

OUR MISSION:

The ministry believes that the spread of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is a task of every believing member and therefore prepares men and women for ministry at home and abroad. We are Christo-centric as literal exegetes of the Bible in Pentecostal power having the kingdom vision. We are also charitable, helping the less privileged through the establishment of a school, which is presently operating, and we intend to establish hospitals etc.

OUR BELIEFS:

We believe

1.That the sixty-six books of the bible were inspired by God, and therefore free from error. They constitute the only infallible guide to us as believers.

2. There is one God, the creator and preserver of all things, infinite in being and perfection. He exists eternally in three persons - The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost, who are of one substance and equal in power and glory.

3.The Eternally pre-existent Son became incarnate without human father by being born of the virgin Mary. Thus the Lord Jesus Christ’s divine and human nature were united in one person - whole, perfect and distinct to effect salvation… He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as sinners’ substitute, shedding His blood for the remission of sins, and on the third day, He rose from the dead in the body, which has been laid in the tomb. He ascended into heaven, to the right hand of the Father where He performs the ministry of intercession. He shall come again personally and visibly to complete his saving work and consummate the eternal plan of God.

4.That man created in the image of God through disobedience fell from his sinless state at the suggestion of satan. This fall plunged man into a state of sin and spiritual death, but from this condition, man can be saved only by the grace of God through faith on the basis of the work of Christ and by the agency of the Holy Ghost

5.The Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune one God. He applies to man the work of Christ by justification and adoption - man is given a right standing before God. By regeneration, sanctification and glorification, man’s nature is renewed and that it is possible today to expect miracles, divine healing, spiritual gifts, and speaking in tongue as the Spirit gives utterance as evidence of the move of God in our time.

6.The believer turned to God in penitent faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is accountable to God for living a life separated from sin and characterized by the fruit of the Spirit. It is his/her responsibility to contribute by word and deed to the universal spread of the gospel….GO-YE.

7.At the end of the age, the bodies of the dead shall be raised. The righteous shall enter into full possession of eternal bliss- the presence of God. The wicked shall be condemned to eternal death-hell. This shall be after the gathering of saints by the Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing.

We are blessed with two men of God:


1) REV. C .A. NDEEKY

AGE: 42YEARS

OCCUPATION: FULL TIME MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL

MARITAL STATUS: HAPILLY MARRIED

EDUCATION: A GRADUATE OF ASSEMBLIES OF GOD BIBLE COLLEGE AKPAJO ELEME, NIGERIA; 1991 BADGE.

CHRISTIAN/MINISTERIAL EXPERIENCE: AT THE AGE OF NINE UNDER THE MINISTRY OF HIS FATHER AT THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, HE RECEIVED A CALL FROM GOD TO DO HIS WORK. THE CALL CAME AGAIN IN 1986 AND SINCE THEN, HE HAS NOT RELENTED IN PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. A GOD ORDAINED MAN OF GOD, HE SERVED IN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD AS CHOIR MASTER, LOCAL AND SECTIONAL YOUTH LEADER, CAMPUS MINISTER, CHILDREN PASTOR, SENIOR PASTOR, SECTIONAL MISSION/ EVANGELISM LEADER, DISTRICT EVANGELIST, AND MISSION CORDINATOR LEADING A TEAM OF 70 EVANGELISTS. HE SERVED IN HIS NATIVE NIGERIA UNDER WESTERN IGBOLAND DISTRICT OF ASSEMBLIES OF GOD GENERAL COUNCIL NIGERIA

ONE OF HIS FAVOURITE COURSES IS COMPARATIVE RELIGION. HIS EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS HIS PRACTICAL AND THEORITICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THIS FIELD HAS ENHANCED HIS FORESIGHT IN FIGHTING SPIRITUAL BATTLE.

GOD HAS USED HIM IN THE AREA OF DIVINE HEALING.DEAF HEARD, THE BLIND SAW, THE LUNATICS RESTORED TO NORMALTY.

THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY GHOST ARE IN MANIFESTATION DURING HIS SERVICES TO THE GLORY OF GOD. HE HAS TRAVELLED WITH THE GOSPEL TO COUNTRIES LIKE LIBERIA, CAMEROUN, GHANA AND SENEGAL. HE HAS BEEN IN THE MINISTRY FOR EIGHTEEN YEARS AND HE IS THE ORDAINED BISHOP OF THE MINISTRY.HE IS OFTEN CALLED JR. AFTER HIS FATHER AND THE MINISTRY HAS GROWN FROM STRENGHT TO STRENGHT.






(2) DR. EUGENE O. OKAFOR

DATE OF BIRTH: OCT.17,1963.

CAREER: MISSIONARY/PRACTICING DENTAL SURGEON.

CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE: HE WAS BORN AGAIN IN 1985 AS AN UNDERGRADUATE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, NIGERIA. IN 1987, HE BECAME THE GENERALCORDINATOR OF THE DEEPER LIFE CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP FOR COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS AND THE SCHOOL OF NURSING, LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL.

IN 1996, HE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER WEST AFRICAN COUNTRY, THE GAMBIA, WHERE HE BECAME THE FIRST CHAIRMAN OF THE KINGDOM VISION ASSOCIATION INC.

PRESENTLY, HE SERVES AS A MISSIONARY UNDER PMWC OF KINGDOM VISION ASSOCIATION IN THE GAMBIA, BUT HE WILL SOON EMBARK ON ITENERANT
MISSIONARY WORK IN ANOTHER WEST AFRICAN COUNTRY.

DR. OKAFOR IS HAPPILY MARRIED TO ISABELLA AND THEY ARE BLESSED WITH TWO BOYS - GODSON AND GODSWILL.
