What is a Preforeclsoure?
This is a property posted for foreclsoure and sells before the posted date, thus saving the owners from foreclsoure.

What is a 1st Lien Note Sale?
This is a sale of the properties 1st Lien Note for an amount usually less than the amount owed on the note. The first lien note takes priority over other liens, 2nd, 3rd, except for Tax Liens. The buyer of the 1st Lien Note then becomes the owner of the 1st Lien on the property, allowing them to foreclose on the owner or work out some payment arrangements.
