Flood in Manitoba, Canada


This is an appeal of hope for one man - Ray Shaw, a farmer in Morris, Manitoba.

The spring run-off is sudden this year. The flood waters are creasting in Manitoba. Mr Shaw is forunate to have one of the only pieces of high ground in the area. His small herd of sheep and goats is refuge on the 'postage stamp' island of land. He dons his hip waders and wades out the herd towing his aluminum boat because his motor is broken.

Mr Shaw's real crisis is that with grazing lands under water, he is running out of feed for these animals.

I'm asking for a tiny bit of compassion from each of you for a small donation (I recomend $5, the price of a few cups of coffee - but you can send any amount you wish). Please include your name, city of residence, raw url of the programme you are promoting (or a landing page) and email. Your email is optional so that I may thank you personally and I will NEVER send you anything else or post or release your email to anyone else.

I want to thank you for taking the time to read this. I am very pleased at the response that has been generated for the victims of the huricanes in the Southern United States (our target for this page is $6'000 and we exceeded it by 10 percent).

A heartfelt thanks is extended for the efforts of the Past Contibutors. I have sent a personal card of thanks to each of you that 'gave a little back' (some gave time and others gave a little cash. Habitat for Humanity was very grateful for the funds and two volunteers. Thomas Avery and Phil Myers from Illinois and Quebec respectively, spent 3 weeks in the strom ravaged area helping with rebuilding and food & clothing distribution. You guys are the real heros!

Are You constantly bombarded with offers of 'FREE' services???

  • Residual income comes only from operators of strong core values ++

    Many free services will allow you to sign up and then hound you every day in your email box to 'Upgrade' without fist having received any real value for the time you spent joining. Trying to understand how their process will benefit you can be equally time consuming.

    ** Hit-and-run operators may not 'take' you for your hard earned cash but rather with just stop doing business when they run into problems that were not in the original plan, only to surface somewhere else with a new plan. This often happens without any notice. The money that was earned up to the point of business end is usually paid (some not) but none of the long-term promises will be kept.
    ++ When the directors of a service are progressive in their strategy, mission statement and long term plan, only then can you be assured of their longivity in the marketplace. Strong ccore values are the most important attribute.

    Please only accept council from person(s) that have a vested interest in your future and is(are) working with you toward your own goals. This will ensure you can stay focused and 'on track'.
