Girdwood Guest House is located about 40 miles from Anchorage in an exquisite setting at the base of Mt. Alyeska. Girdwood is a matchless vacation area in winter and summer; a Gateway to Whittier, Portage Valley, Seward & Homer. It is a perfect place to experience Alaska.


Girdwood Guest House offers more than a bed & breakfast. It is a private, comfortable first floor apartment, with its own deck, parking and entrance.
Our guests tell us that the privacy is most appreciated. It is like a home away from home, cozy, warm, and relaxing. This is a perfect place for spending many days exploring our beautiful area. Hosts Judy and Pat are Ski Instructors at Alyeska Resort and will share "Skiing Tips of the Day", take you on Tours of the Mountain in winter, or give you hiking tips and help with activity planning in the summer.
Girdwood Guest House offers a luxurious king bed, down comforter, marble topped dresser and full futon. The suite sleeps 2 to 4. There is a full bath, washer and dryer. Finely milled French Soap, lotion, and shampoo are provided.

A fully appointed kitchen is yours for preparing meals and snacks. Each morning you will be served fresh, warm, homemade bread, to accompany eggs, cheese, fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, etc.






You can enjoy Cable TV, & VCR, in the comfy sitting room appointed with leather furniture.
