CURLING not just for the OLYMPICS
What and where is Hudson? No, not the Hudson on the Hudson but the one on the Ottawa River in Quebec, yeah, in Canada.

Hudson, Qc, is golf, sailing and horse country, art and antiques, also, of course, CURLING, sometimes, at its best.
The Royal Canadian Legion branch 115 operates two curling rinks, another site in Hudson is the Whitlock Golf & Country Club with four rinks.
There are not too many vets left but thanks to curling, the branch thrives. You can learn more about it by visiting:

What this page is about is SENIORS, or the HARDY ROCKS in Hudson, Qc.
We compete regularly with other SENIORS in the region. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. That is the game.
Many would call us "old farts", but, most of us are achievers, retired but active yet in many fields. For instance:
For golfers, a hole in one is top. For curlers, it is an 8 ender and here is the team of youngsters(?) who achieved the latest feat in december 2001.
This is the aim of this site. Many retired seniors don't really know
what to do after getting out of the rat race. Many things can be suggested and by telling you different short stories about individuals here, you will know that retirement does not mean becoming a couch potato.
